DC17 – Double Cut Tenor Electric Ukulele

Ready to rock?   The DC17 is can help.   This uke was designed with one thing in mind: face melting rock and roll.  That’s not to say that the DC17 can’t sweeten up.  Roll back your volume and tone, and you can dial in crisp clean blues goodness or mellow jazz tones.  With a standard 17″ scale length and 22 frets, there’s room to get way up the neck for ripping leads in any genre. The forearm bevel and belly cut hug your body so you’re always comfortable while playing.  This uke can do it all.

The TFL17 comes standard with a custom wound set of Joyner Microbucker Ukulele pickups designed and built by Warp Core pickups in Redmond, Oregon (right next to Bend).  These pickups were designed with this uke in mind.  Each pickup has 2 coils that cancel 60 cycle hum and give a warm fat tone.  Too fat? Pull the tone knob out to coil tap the lower coil of each pickup for a single coil sound.  With a selector switch, volume, and tone control and your tonal potential is near limitless.

Standard options for the body are walnut and mahogany, but there are more options available for this uke than any other that we build. Humbuckers not your thing? No problem, we can build with single coils.  What about a sweet koa top?  Absolutely.  Want a more compact 19 fret neck?  Sure.  Ok, but what about a 5 string multi scale baritenor uke with with 3 humbucking pickups, locking tuners, and all black hardware? Uh yeah.  Please….Anyone?
